If you are offering subscription based products (sent each 30 days for example), you might be using a Third Party Shopify App to help process these orders. Shopify has an extensive list of apps to help with this and we have no preference working with one over another.
This is due to the unfortunate situtation that these Apps take exclusive control of the checkout flow, which disables the Webshipper shipping rates.
This is not necessarily a problem, but rather something you should be aware of as it might create some issues down the line like:
- Orders will be received in Webshipper with the 'Shipping rate is missing' status, so you would have to create a shipping rate match to send the orders from Webshipper.
- Webshipper cannot help with selecting Droppoints through our API in the checkout.
- When the subscription reoccurs, the Droppoint originally used might have closed/filled so you cannot resend to the same Droppoint.
